Wow, you have been busy. Thank you!!!

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

Don't know where to start?  Look at the Inky Topics O'day.  Then, see inks sorted by color: Blue Purple Brown Red Green Dark Green Orange Black Pinks Yellows Blue-Blacks Grey/Gray UVInks Turquoise/Teal MURKY

hey you green-lovers, got a question for you.

I've got two preppy highlighters, a yellow one and a green one. The yellow one already ran out of ink, I refilled the cartridge with Diamine Yellow. Perfect for me.

Now the green is about to run dry. I just went through all these green examples. And on one hand got confirmation on my first idea reading post 35: J. Herbin vert pré. However, on post 121 this same vert pré looks far too unsaturated to draw attention as a highlighter. On the other hand, I'm afraid Diamine meadow might be too saturated and cover text/notes rather than highlighting them.

So: anyone who cares to share his experience with green ink for highlighter use? (I'd prefer to avoid the Pelikan highlighter inks, though I couldn't tell you why, maybe I just should pick that green. Any pics of that ink?)

  • 3 weeks later...

Finally managed my four greens, although I am just coming to terms with Verdigris as a green; Vert Empire is looking darker than it would come out freshly inked. Verde Muschiato looks freshly inked, and really wild for me.

The steel nib Sonnet with Verdigris just glides, followed by the Lamy with Verde Muschiato.
