That pumpkin is awesome. What's the nice tortoise she'll pen in the top left?

 

 

It's a somewhat inexpensive Levenger True Writer pen. Not fancy, but a really nice, reliable pen.

KWZ Grapefruit. Spotted this color when going through Amberlea's CRVs; it's one of the most unusual colors I've ever seen. A retina-searing pink-orange.

Sailor Kin-Mokusei. A bright, cheerful orange that doesn't look washed out. Yay.

I like your little mini-review format, Errant.

 

Grapefruit and Kin-mokusei are the best oranges I've tried. Kin is the very acme of orange, while "intense" best describes the red/orange of Grapefruit.

It's hard work to tell which is Old Harry when everybody's got boots on.

Got a few new swatches done in the Orange zone (cos we all use orange ink every day). First up, Monteverde Fireopal (from the new gemstone range). I like.

Me, too! [And there are some of us weirdos that do use orange ink everyday! ;) ] This looks like a great color. Do you have any other red-orange / dark orange inks to compare it to?

The thick line is from a wide italic dip nib, so a fat wet line, which I blotted after some of the ink had dried, so hopefully not too wet to hide the colour.

Not nearly as lovely as Liz's display, but a visual of the main orange inks I have on hand. Some are weird (inexplicable) mixes. :unsure:
