Fooling around with various groupings of inks tonight. A couple I had forgotten about really jumped out as exceptional (Diamine's Deep Dark Purple, and Sailor's Shigure). Not sure when I'd be likely to use them, but they are rich and intense!

Just a follower of your suggestions on what to have in one's collection... What do you think about that Deep Dark Purple? I find the green sheen slightly disturbing (but exciting). Can't decide whether to load up a wet writer with it and see what happens...

I agree with you 100%. The Waterman Tender Purple is the star of these three. Highly recommended.
