They didn't have the big bottles the last time I looked... so that's good to know.

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

A new ink that we're testing. Interesting color.

Hmm... that's probably not IG-M Mandarin.

In that pen, it has a 19th century look to it. Nice.

And finally, a couple of inks that I have on the desk, but don't really sing to me. I am still trying to figure out why on earth (pun intended) they would put the name Terre de Feu (i.e., Tierra del Fuego --just slightly north of the Antarctic) on an ink that is so medium brown. They even have an image on the label of the famous lighthouse near Ushuaia, a place that is snowy and icy. Oh well...

Interesting notes about the JH ink. I enjoyed the sepia...the first fill went fast.

As much as I love this ink, I had never done a sample image. Here goes:

Great photo. A truly wonderful ink and your photo is much more enticing than mine. At the risk of spreading gossip (as if it's not already widely known around here), I can't help myself from telling warning all of my new pen pals about a certain FPN member. This is written in Diamine AC (TWSBI 580 B ) as well.

OK, I confess. I have no idea where to put this ink demo. Has anyone tried Rouille d'Ancre before? What might the J. Herbin ink meisters have been thinking?

I love the scent. I wouldn't call it old leather but I really like it.

Yes, I really like it. I'd call it more of a perfume than any certain scent. Not exactly a masculine musky scent, but it's pleasant.

I once bought a bottle of Fendi cologne because it dried to the scent of an old baseball glove, and I knew to a certainty that men find that smell sexier than anything else on earth.
