Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

How about Autumn Oak? Orange-y, so does it fit here?

EDIT: moved AO to the Orange thread...

RE-Edit - It can be in two places at once.

Put it in both. It is an "Oak" which is a wood which may be brown.

Playing with Kiowa Pecan today. Trying to fall in love with it, but I'm not feeling the passion yet.

Thanks for the encouragement. I'll have to play a bit more with it, and see if Cupid's arrow strikes. ;)

I dug out the rest.

(This time with thoughts)

DIAMINE BURNT UMBER - Really quite nice actually. Very similar to Terracotta only a little more saturated and slightly pinker.

DIAMINE GOLDEN BROWN - Another ink swap and another lovely shading ink. Not sure I'd buy a bottle though, not really my colour.

DIAMINE ANCIENT COPPER - Stunning ink, beautiful shading, colour and properties. Lived in my VAC 700 for around a year. (Terracotta forced it out  )

SAILOR MARUZEN ATHENA SEPIA - A sample kindly sent to me and a terrific ink. (Sailor always produce the goods) Similar to Waterman's Havanna Brown but less saturated and less red.

Ooops! Thoughts? Me? ;)

Amaretto is a rich brown color, but very wet and juicy (as you can see). A bit too dark and, well, brown, for my taste. The scent is soft, exactly like almond extract.

And an ink that is growing on me (not literally!), but very thin and slight. Sometimes, just right for a subtler message to the right person...

Apologies to my aztec/náhuatl friends for that appallingly crappy attempt at drawing Quetzalcóatl. :)

And your cards are spectacular! They always inspire me --especially the idea of a wash over semi-dry lines.

Must say, Ancient Copper is still almost unparalleled in my opinion. Always a favorite for me.
