L'Artisan Pastellier (Callifolio line) has really lovely browns. They are not over saturated, but handsome:

Since Winter has made a return trip to the Midwest just days before the Equinox, I feel the need for warmer colors. A few new browns to add to my palette:

 

The lovely rich brown of Bungubox Kabayaki of the Hamanako Eel:

The very warm and handsome Akkerman Frans Hals Oud Bruin:

And finally, a color that I had greater hopes for, de Atramentis' Matthias Claudius ("umber" color):

This last one doesn't quite appeal to me —in the same way as Ina-ho doesn't work for me. There's something in the tan-brown color that's a little too .... yellow-green? Is that it? Hmmmm.

Goodness! You HAVE been busy! So much color, and I'm stuck grading end-of-semester papers and exams. :( And since most of these things are printed on super-cheap copy paper, I have to use my finest nibs and driest inks. Makes me a bit cranky... ;)
