Inky T O D - Color Swatches - Brown - Please Post Your Pictures And Tell Us Your Thoughts

I have the Muji cards in my possession. The paper is thin and not very large. You can likely swab and write the name of your ink but not too much else. In my experience the swabs bleed through as well so you cannot use both sides of the paper. The only other thing worth mentioning is that they aren't a true white but more of a very light grey color. Not dark by any means. The paper is also smooth, unlike the Nemosyne ones which I recall are more similar in texture to watercolor paper.

In a pinch I suppose they're okay. Not my favorites but I'm sure there are worse options. I actually just created a grid and swabbed my inks on Canson Watercolor Paper. Desperate times and all that.

I would be interested in hearing how you found the cards you ordered, Fabienne!

They aren't the worst but I wouldn't want anyone buying them to think they're similar! For the price, I suppose I shouldn't be complaining!

Here's a picture. The paper underneath is white watercolor paper. Also, you can see there was some feathering when writing.

They are really not that bad... In a pinch, and especially if you don't have options... they will do just fine.

The two browns I'm using at present:

Iroshizuku Yama-Guri (which I think looks too green in the first image :( )

They look disconcertingly similar here, more so than I think they really are!

Diamine SBRE Brown.

He got an ink named after him? Or is he named after the ink?

it's a beautiful one, nonetheless.

Oh, and I should mention, that color above, that HalloweenHJB sent is CLEAN Silly Putty. After you use Silly Putty is a different color.
