It's hard to get yellow as Vivid has that ... PR Buttercup yellow, is however, a great ink.

Quite true. But I think Helianthus is a bit easier to read, don't you?

I don't know that I have seen them side by side.

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

Could be the paper; could be my scanner. But it did not turn out nearly as vivid or red as I had hoped. Oh well...

That's Rubinato "Rosso" with a faint fruity scent. Not super saturated, but very nice.

I love reds. I need to try the Park red that I acquired at the pen show.

Diamine Red Dragon

Many love it but I just can't. It's just too brown for me. (The scan turns out redder.)

Interesting about the Red Dragon... Its my favorite red, and never noticed that turns out to brown, but I didn't used it wider than a solid m nib. Oxblood, well, that does, still an another amazing Diamine ink.

I'll need to load something with Diamine Classic Red and do it too.....

I am so surprised how much I use it. I would not have predicted that when I bought it last summer.
