Standardgraph Zeichentechnik GmbH is german manufacturer of technical drawing instruments, rulers and pencil sharpeners. They also have inks. They manufacture and distribute their own calligraphy products and products from the company Rubinato. I believe Standardgraph inks are made in Germany by Standardgraph.

Tehy offer palette of 24 colors (only 22 are fountain pen friendly).

Let's take a look at them:

Summary

I enjoy these inks: most of them are well behaved and they're reasonably priced (5-6 $ / 30 ml).

I like: Schilfgrun, Ferngrun, Mossgrun, nowy Zypressengrun, Tulpenrot, Maisgelb i Feigenbraun.

I dislike krokusgelb, stary Zypressengrun, Vergissmeinnicht, Holunderblau, Mohnrot.

If you like this comoparison please do me a pleasure and vote in the poll.

J. Herbin line will come next but I still lack some samples.

Thanks for doing this much work -- it's good to be able to see all the inks together. Of course, I should *not* be looking at more inks to buy.... :headsmack:

Really partial to the Fliederrosa and the Feigenbraun.

"It's very nice, but frankly, when I signed that list for a P-51, what I had in mind was a fountain pen."

Stumbled upon these inks online and picked up a bottle each of schilfgrun and anthrazit after looking through this comparison. Appreciate the work you put in!

Awesome comparison!!!

Could you please identify the inks in the water resistance test? (It seems like two of the blues and two of the reds have very good resistance)

Amazing review, again! I love that you are trying inks with different pens, on different papers and surfaces... makes the best comparison. Thank you!

It's obvious that a lot of love goes into your reviews, visvamitra (as well as much time and effort). These are all nice colors but I have to say - that Feigenbraun, wow! A bottle is on the way.

It's hard work to tell which is Old Harry when everybody's got boots on.

Another great set of comparisons. Thank you so much!

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

BTW, Vis, these comparisons are the very best for putting up in the window. I got the last ones tacked up a few days ago. Thank you.

Thanks, not bad colors.

Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right

to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.

For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers,

and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie. Revelation 22:14-15

Much work put into this review, and your efforts are much appreciated. Their reds all seem to have a pink cast to them.
