I have been, and continue, to study Lloyd Reynolds' inspiring teachings by way of YouTube replays of his TV shows and his books. To learn that Reed College has resurrected, so to speak, its support for all that he represented and gave to our communities through its Calligraphy Initiative is exciting in so many ways.

 

This week I will be writing to both the school teacher, Sara Clark, and to the Cooley Gallery Director, Stephanie Snyder, separate hand-written letters of appreciation in my best italic penmanship.
