Pen Identification And Repair

Recommended Posts

My father found this pen in an antique store in our hometown. He bought the pen more for historical interest because it belonged to a notable early member of our community. He passed it onto me for repairs. It is an old celluloid, lever fill, pen with gold bands on the cap. No company or imprints on initial examination. Haven't taken it apart yet, but will likely do so soon as I can feel the ink bladder rattling around within it. Anyone know what kind of pen it is? More importantly, any surprises I might run across during a simple sack change?

Is there any interesting info on the nib imprint? The photo is just too blurred to tell.

As for repair, it looks pretty standard, so I would not expect surprises.

Sorry for the delay, the nib is fairly generic with just a 14k imprint, I'll try and find a better picture this evening. Should get working on it this week, maybe I'll find something as it gets dismantled.
