Love them!!

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

Oh, and compared to Adular, Cosmic looks purple.

True. It's on the violet-blue side of the blue spectrum. Adular is what I'd call a "true blue."

I tried to find out what this "Thistle" means. It seems like it's an insider thing. You mixed it? Are you selling this ink? Nice color though.

In 2008 a bunch of Thistle Blue Black Ink Powder popped up on eBay. Several members reviewed it, and then the conversation died down. DCWaites had a stash and he shared it with me. When I was done with my review, I shared it with others and we did a giant international Co-Razy-View of this nearly unobtainable ink. We sent out a plea for more powdered inks and Kevin of JustWrite.com.au took on the challenge - the Susemai / Blackstone ink powders were born.

Meanwhile, before the next round of Blackstone Inks is released for sale or testing, the SuperPowderInk Testers a.k.a. the SuperPinks have searched around the world and imported powders from far off lands like Virginia, Australia, Minneapolis and London. Thistle will be part of the next SuperPinks test.

I love that in-between color! Combinations of colors, like combinations of inks really fascinate me!

Thinking of the Sea on this weirdly dark day in Indianapolis. Ice storm is predicted for tonight. Yippee.

If the Blackstone powders ever become commercially available, we are all going to have to get Fisher Scientific catalogs so we can set up accurate mixing laboratories. What fun it would be to play again with graduated pipettes and cylinders, even a magnetic stirrer!

An odd shade for this thread, but the name says blue, so here goes...

Thank you; I must start using PR inks again :)

Gorgeous! Must compare with Diamine Indigo and Iro Tsuki-Yo
