Wow, I wonder if anyone has more experience with different blue inks than you... Are you able to narrow down to five or so favorites? Ten?

@lapis is one of many people who have more experience with blues. I just happened to have doodled with them on the one page.

 

Here are some of my favorites:

 

Diamine: Winter Miracle, Sargasso Sea, Bilberry

Kobe / Sailor: Lidthi Jay, Maya Lapis

Private Reserve: DC Super Show Blue (I haven't tried the new formulation, but I'm pretty happy with the new American Blue)

Noodler's: Bay State Blue (nothing else like it) and for years I used Luxury Blue as my signature. Midway Blue is fade resistant and KTC is amazingly everything resistant.

KWZI:  Blue #4 and Purple #4 (or maybe it's violet #4) are both retina searing and I love them. I don't know if either are still available.

Iroshizuku: Asa Gao is an all around great behaving ink - I just never use it.

Since I recently made a review using this vintage ink, I thought I'd put a little thing here too. Like somebody said earlier: ain't no such thing as too much blue.

Also, a pair of quickly doodled inkies, one in a hurry and one with a nasty disease. Gosh!

Are the top two - both Waterman Mysterious Blue - the old and new versions? Or ... ? And the Mysterious Blue a few more lines down looks almost halfway between the top two ...

I think (but don't remember because that was 2012) that I only had a sample of WMB and that you are seeing the same ink in two different pens.
