The inks I have by L'Artisan Pastellier tend to be really pale, but this one looks pretty vibrant. Good to know...

It's pretty pale. The picture is deceiving.

Halloween, your swabs are pretty special. Steve, I love the ghosts.

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

Somehow I managed to miss the crazy sheen in "Off" for Shocking Blue.

<--- Shocked. :yikes:

It is an ink powder from a now defunct ink manufacturer in Australia. Check out the Inking Outside the Bottle Forum to see some posts.

Blue is the best color in the whole world. Not just because it's my favorite, either. Even my scuba tanks are blue. :D

It's interesting that so many wonderful colors are discontinued powders. (I'll check Out Side the Bottle...thanks.)

I like Shin-kai, but Bleu Nuit looks marvelous. Somebody shoot me before I buy any more ink.

Shin Kai has a nice red sheen, but Bleu Nuit has way nicer color and shading.

I saw that Passion4Pens was down to a few last bottles of de Atramentis "Christmas" scented inks, so I grabbed a couple (OK, 5).

The strange thing is that most of the bottles do not indicate the scent. So except for the "Mulled Wine" and "Marzipan," these are my guesses:

The clear winners are the blue-black spice, the unidentified scent (fresh? poinsettia?) blue with sheen, and the "ginger" scented red. Great colors and pleasant scents.

And then there's Waterman's Bleu Mystère.

Doesn't quite knock my socks off, but maybe I'm missing something...

Nice! I have the Cinnamon which is silver. And some red... I'll have to look.

I like the Christmas blue.

That one and the clove-scented blue-black are top-notch. The Marzipan blue is the dud of the group, seems to me.
