I was at first confused that penfisher, the excellent restoration specialist here on FPN had started making pens, but I don't think this is the case here.

Thank you for your interest.

Fisher of Pens is a family run business out of South Carolina. Our last name is Fisher and Fisher of Pens is a play on the well known verse "Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men"

My wife, my oldest son and I have been handcrafting pens for approximately 5 years and have stepped up our custom fountain pen offerings over the last year or so. Word of mouth and art show sales have been great over the last few years and I feel our quality is now such that I'm comfortable listing here on FPN.

Much of our material comes from custom pours by Jonathon Brooks but we also work with a lot of vintage materials as we are able to source them, commercially available resins, ebonite and hardwoods.

I thought Fisher of Space Pen fame was making a fountain pen... So this won't write in space? :lticaptd:

In space...no one can hear your nib scratch...

Pressurized fountain pen sounds like a fun trick to play on someone though :D

One of the most important measurements (to me anyway) is the section diameter at the smallest point, but that seems to be missing here ;-)

That's easy enough to remedy :)

Section is 9.7mm a the narrowest and 10.7mm at the widest before the nib. The section length is right around 16.3mm from body to the start of the nib.

There is a very slight lip at the transition from the section to the threads and then from the threads to the body.

Also missing is the weight. My jewelers scale died on me recently, but according to my less accurate postage scale it's 16g with the cap and 12g without.

If anyone is on the fence, I will offer this pen at an introductory price of $160 with no clip and $185 with a clip and offer a 30-day return if you're not happy with it for any reason as long as I receive it back in the same condition it was sent.

Ink it up with your favorite inks, write with it, draw with it or just stare at it. If you're not happy, just let me know and I'll take care of the rest.

I realize I haven't been selling on FPN long enough to establish a reputation yet but I'm hoping to change that.

Thank you.

Hi AJ.

It comes with a Schmidt K-5 and will use international standard cartridges, short or long. Press on, not threaded.

The website currently is mostly kit style pens and a few other turning. I still need to build up content for the full custom section.
