The Ink Karas Kustoms

It's like a Naka-ai mated with a Lamy 2000 while on vacation in the USA.

A good chuckle, was had here.

"You mustn’t be afraid to dream a little bigger darling.” "Forever optimistic with a theme and purpose." "My other pen is oblique and dippy."

We are in the process of finishing a run of INKs right now.

@jebib111 - I apologize for the issues with your clip. We have made some minor adjustments to our clip retaining screws and our clips now fit flush against the cap.

I am not sure about future Massdrops with the INK, they would need to come to us and ask us for the INKs again. So I would suggest you set up a survey on their site specifically requesting the INK be returned, that would get their attention fastest.

Besides that Dan and Bill are hard at work on some new products. All I can say is it's more than one and less than five. More to come in the weeks ahead. They aren't ALL fountain pens but they are all pen related.

We adore Dan and Bill. Keep them working.

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

Create a Ghostly Avatar and I'll send you a letter. Check out some Ink comparisons: The Great PPS Comparison

Don't know where to start?  Look at the Inky Topics O'day.  Then, see inks sorted by color: Blue Purple Brown Red Green Dark Green Orange Black Pinks Yellows Blue-Blacks Grey/Gray UVInks Turquoise/Teal MURKY

A few years have passed since the above posts and I bought a KK Ink in 2017. I suspect that they have made some adjustments to the pen since the beginning. I was attracted by the industrial design, since my adopted motto is "Form follows function." I don't look for nor do I avoid beauty in any object, but it has to work. The Ink looks like it would work, and it does. I ordered green aluminum with a copper section and a 1.1 mm stub. I would probably prefer a 1.5 mm stub, because I'm so manly but I'm still happy. How could I go wrong buying a fountain pen from a body shop with "kustoms" in its name? This ain't no sissy pen! I love it.

They've definitely made some changes since this was first posted - the most significant of which was a shift from #5 Schmidt nibs to #6 Bock, accommodated by creating a more 'hooded' (partially enclosed) look to the nib. I've got one of the originals, and enjoy it a great deal - wish I could justify buying one of the newer pens, but I have too many pens!

Has anyone tried the Titanium nib in this pen? I'm debating whether to order this pen with a steel or titanium nib.

Enjoyed your review. Adding humor is always a good thing.

I love my Ink, so it was nice to see you saying good things about it.

I got to try one of these at the 2017 LA pen show. Great pens, and the team at Karas Kustoms are the best. Authentic people.

Stay unposted, friends.
