Where To Find Bril Ink?

I saw the PIF on FPN and tried to see if I could find Bril ink for sale. This thread is where I wound up, what are the chances? I saw the sheen on the ink splash & thought it would be a nice ink to try. I'm disappointed that it isn't easier to purchase.

Bril's site order page code is broken for international orders and does something funny whenever an international custom tries to place an order.

Some French user tried to place an order and described what the problem was in an Indian forum thread.

If you really want it, ask Mehandiratta to ship it to you. Pay him for the bottle and shipping.

Here's a recent reply to me from Bril Ink, "Since couriers do not carry liquids (ink) from here we are unable to service international orders. If you wish to buy other stationery products pls mail us at media@brilindia.com and brilinfo@brilindia.com and we will send you a quote for the products and shipping cost to your destination."

I'm working with an Amazon seller to set something up for those of us living outside of India. He will let me know once they have some Bril ink stock. Stay tuned...

Bril inks are available in plenty in the Avenue road shops in Bangalore, but unfortunately Blue,Green,Red and Black, for Torquise Blue and Laurel Rose online is the only option and there comes the issue of Rs 500 minimum order which brings just too many bottles of ink, however after a discussion with the Sales manager of Bril, he assured that if I can go to their Factory at Rajajinagar Industrial Estate, they will be happy to sell fewer number of bottles to me. Let's see if I can arrange that.

If we can get 5 people in Delhi (New Delhi preferably), then someone can order inks worth ₹500 and then we can distribute 5 each among ourselves.

Well, I'm in for this.

I had emailed Bril Inc. directly on this matter yesterday. I got a sample of Bril Black this week and I'm quite happy with it if they keep it at the super low price that they do now. So they told me they will start selling in the U.S. in 2019! And they have an Indigogo campaign if I want to get first dips on their products. For $2 a bottle I'm quite happy to contribute.

Just an update on this. I finally received my ink in February and I'm quite please with it so far. The pens are terrible. Worse than Chinese pens, but the ink is interesting. Seems good enough for government work, which is what I do. ;-)
