Months back I bought the Cross pen from another Indian online shop for about the same price. Actually these pens never sell at 100% of the recommended retail price.

 

Even in a shop (in USA) no dealer will ask for more than 80% of marked price.

 

Unfortunately in India the dealers like Williampenn charge the full price. And worst of all Montblanc Boutiques (the authorised dealer Entrack) charges 20% more than MSRP ( that means an Indianin India pays 1.5 times for Montblanc that an American pays in the USA)

these prices are good enough, if somebody wants to avoid the hassle of importing the pens, and wants to get them quickly.

i agree...the pricing on indian pens is ridiculous on the e-commerce websites.

 

I asked for the fee for nib exchange on my unused Alfred Hitchcock(but beyond the warranty) ,there estimate was 36000 rs (600$)... now that is just
