Well, this is ONE of the inks I've been using, today.... Roher & Klingner Helianthus. It arrived in yesterday's mail, so I had to try it out, along with a lot of other "sunshine" colors :-). That, and a very pretty Sterling Silver dip nib holder we found at an antique store here in town, today.

This is today's other main ink: Iroshizuku Fuyu-gaki--an AMAZING "in your face" red that really floats my boat. And using the beautiful PIF of a Royal Red (I think) Lamy Studio LE w/a fine nib. Both from aggie. A HUGE thank you goes out to her for her kindness! XOXOX  . The other pen is the dip pen you see in my previous photo.

They look great together, don't you think?

Diamine Denim. Applied to the Rhodia paper using a Jowo 1.5 mm nib.

EoC, you have THE most gorgeous handwriting!

And a great thought to boot, EoC.

Good choices. Red-brown and red-oranges is my absolute favorite spectrum. Have you tried Cult Pens' Deep Dark Orange? You might enjoy it! And if you can find it, Montblanc Alfred Hitchcock is also rich and warm.

Thanks HalloweenHJB. I do have a bottle of DDO, and love it. I haven't ever tried Hitchcock, but it looks great in the review I read.

Best Regards, greg

Apart from the handmade pen and the Treveni Jr, which are inked with MB Blue/Black, I also have a few additional pens inked, experimenting with some other colors.

Yes, they do. This is exactly the color I would expect to come out of that pen. I think you should consider making the pairing permanent. When you want to use another red, use another pen.

That Sailor's a cool looking pen. As is the Wality. Very cool.
