That is a BEAUTIFUL photograph!

(And I don't even like my own Black MBs or Blue ink! I enjoy their performance but surely wish they had been "Born Burgundy" instead.)

Platinum Carbon Black in the desk pen, vintage Parker Quink Blue in the Esterbrook Dollar/#9550, and Waterman Bleu Sérénité in the Edison Collier.

I love the smell of fountain pen ink in the morning.

The ink in use is Pilot Iroshizuku Yama-Budo which is filled in matte finish Ranga Zeal.

And inspiration for today comes from one of the most iconic Architect of our times, Zaha Hadid. She was the first woman to win Pritzker Award.

Paper is Tomoe River Cream loose leaf.

the handwriting, ink, and the nib on the pen are so beautiful...

Thanks for sharing

Thanks I guess. Personally I think the nib and the handwriting are mediocre at best.

Anyway, today I just had a very, very small creative thought. So, here it is:

fpn_1460454217__dscn1462.jpg

This is written using an Osmiroid B2 italic nib fitted to an Esterbrook Dollar pen. The paper is Tomoe River Cream. The marginally creative part was putting the light source behind the paper (about 6 inches away). The only other lighting was the normal room overhead. The texture of the paper is interesting. I hadn't really noticed it until I shone a light through.

The pen in rotation is Lamy Nexx with 1.1 Stub Nib which is inked with Kale Blue Ink which is one of the locally produced ink by one of the pen seller under Kale Pens, Pune.

Viabhav, I'm ready to give that Bock Double Nib a try!

BTW, I have Sheaffer Purple inked up right now, want to do a CRV and compare the Pelikan to Sheaffer?

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

Picked up a bottle of the new Franklin Christoph Spanish Blue.

Really nice ink with good shading and flow. It leans towards the turquoise side for sure but it really is beautiful.

I darkened the edges of the photo and adjusted things a little to try and get it as close as possible to the actual color. This is really pretty close.
