Let's just say, I felt silly. I didn't expect DTN to look so much like KWZI Maroon.

Rohrer & Klingner's Scabiosa (iron gall) in a Sailor 1911, 21k, M nib

Noodler's Red Black in a Pelikan M400, F nib

(and the Sailor 1911 again at bottom)
and this is on Staples Multipurpose copy paper 24b., 96 bright

Worthy of all the hype! And since I got a bottle of Bleu Ocean at the same time, I really do love that one, too! Not as bright or cheerful, but rich and sparkly!

Through a MassDrop*, I ordered five de Atramentis inks that I had not seen elsewhere. They arrived today! They are probably not new inks, but simply new to me. See what you think:

*The order was made in early JULY, and only arrived in late September. IMHO, if you are not a very, very, very patient person, I would not recommend this method for buying inks.

oooh, i'm in for this drop too. still waiting :), but they had colours which i haven't seen in my usual haunts.

Quite right. And I imagine that there will be a greater delay in getting the packages to Ukraine. Hope your choices of inks turn out to be excellent!

Sorry it was fuzzy. The ink reminded me of a well behaved and waterproof Rome is Burning.
