Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

Pure coincidence that these all ended up in fine nibbed pens but it's interesting to see the contrast between the Lamy and the Pilot fine.

Pelikan M205 F Rohrer & Klingner Verdigris - Pilot VP F Iroshizuku Kon-peki - Pilot Falcon SF Iroshizuku Tsutsuji

Lamy Safari EF Noodlers Black - Lamy Al Star 1.1 Private Reserve Rose Rage - Lamy Safari F Diamine Flamingo Pink - Lamy Al Star F Waterman Inspired Blue

TWSBI 580AL F - Omas Violet - TWSBI 580AL M De Atramentis Sherlock Holmes - TWSBI Vac700 F - Diamine Grey

Yes, indeed. the Lamy line definitely looks more medium to me. And Inspired Blue is such a great ink!

Written on the TWSBI notebooks that the Micarta V2 came in. Slightly off-white paper, but my phone camera sucks so the colors are off.

BSB is mixed 1:1 with water, or it would feather really bad on that paper.

So many inks, so little time...

Amber, what is that coral mix? It looks really interesting.

I was wondering the same thing! Also, man DeA Blackberry is purty. Must prioritize trying my sample.

Coral Mix was Lamy Coral with a dash of red. (Williamsburg red powder, but don't worry about that, a dash of red ink added to Lamy Coral).

De Atramentis inks are not easy to acquire at a reasonable price.

I've been practicing copperplate (which is still pitiful) using Montblanc Pink. I disliked how the ink looked with my TWSBI 1.1 italic nib and a Noodler's Konrad. So I thought I hated this ink until I tried it in a vintage Waterman with flex.

Looking good. Keep going! I love the Waterman you're using, but if it doesn't have a super soft flexy nib, Copperplate doesn't flow easily. Use your wettest, softest nib, and you'll spend less time fidgeting with the nib, and more time on the letter formation. {Sorry for the unsolicited advice; hope the hints are helpful...}

I was doodling with the inks I just filled and since they kind of make a fresh, "springy" palette I thought I would share :)
