Thanks! I have some of those, untried (Patchouli, Bordeaux Red), but didn't have a couple other **'d ones, so samples are on the way. :)

Halloween - I love that we love the same colors! Your Avatar changed again.

Steve, when I was first starting to build an inky empire .. or at least a collection, I was told to add Rubinato inks to my collection. They are an Italian company that has been making inks and pens for generations. Alas, they are not easy to find in B&Ms. Treasures2Remember has a few new ones in stock, but not the one I sent you.

I'm experimenting with avatars. Not sure what suits me best...

Nice bottles for the Rubinato ink, but not as fancy as the old ones (?) with the little straw "flower" on the front. I also like the tall shape which works better for loading a pen. Still, good to see that someone is carrying them.

Exactly! I love these really nice tall bottles! Last night they still had a few (3, if I recall) bottles of the Seppia in this style of bottle, but now, they may be already gone. Sad, but true.

I had a reinking session last night after getting the latest ink drop and deciding it was about time I tried some new samples

De Atramentis Sherlock Holmes - never really got the appeal of blue-black inks until I put this in a pen a couple of weeks ago. I've been hunting a full bottle only to find it's not available through the Australian distributor from the super helpful ink guy at the Sydney CBD Dymocks store...having a hard time deciding whether to buy it now I know I will have to get it overseas and it will cost so much with the terrible US$ exchange rate plus postage.

Omas Violet - pretty sure I've posted this one before, still working my way through the sample. I still like how it changes from a red toned purple when it's wet to a blue toned violet when it's dry but unlikely to purchase a full bottle

Diamine Steel Blue - I need to tinker with this one in my nib creaper, I don't like the shading I'm getting out of it but I've seen beautiful examples from other people when it's not laying down such a wet line.

Iroshizuku Tsutsuji - my bottle arrived my first day back to work after Christmas, I was so stoked as I only ordered it from Japan on Christmas Eve (obviously I was working hard that day). Unless something special comes up, I'm keeping this one in my falcon now. Nothing cheers me up like pink flex writing!

Rohrer & Klingner Verdigris - I hadn't changed the ink in my Pelikan M205 in about 6 weeks, so chances are this one will stay in there for a while too. This pen is my handbag EDC and although I'm not bowled over by Verdigris, it feels like a good everyday ink for a while. I like that it's quite a wet shade and it doesn't overwhelm the F nib of this pen which is an issue I often find with wetter inks in this combo.

Private Reserve Ebony Purple - too dark for my liking, it would probably be better in a larger nib size but as I'm not a big fan of subtle colours I'm unlikely to test that out in a hurry. My poor VP, I keep saying I will put Kon-peki back in there next time I flush it, then promptly change my mind whenever I get new ink samples, even though nothing appeals to me in this pen like Kon-peki

Pelikan M205 F Rohrer & Klingner Verdigris - Pilot VP F Iroshizuku Kon-peki - Pilot Falcon SF Iroshizuku Tsutsuji
