It's a great color --but do you like Kon-peki more than Ama-iro?

Can't say as this is the only Iro I've used.

Iroshizuku Yu-yake - nice work Goulet, trying so hard not to order a bottle of this right now. I have no need for more orange inks, but I love this one anyway. It's slightly more muted than anything else I own in the orange spectrum - that totally makes it acceptable to use anywhere and everywhere right :D The shading is okay, it looks more spectacular when it's wet as it dries darker which takes away some of the contrast.

Omas Violet - my final purple sample, I had about 10 and at this point I don't think I even want a purple ink anymore so that sample haul saved me wasting a lot of money. This one is kind of fun, when wet it's a much more saturated, red leaning colour (Diamine Majestic Purple is the best comparison I've seen) but it dries a bit lighter and to a much more blue toned violet.

Waterman Inspired Blue - I just can't decide if I like this ink or not, behaves well in all my pens and is more saturated and slightly more turquoise than Iroshizuku Kon-peki which is what it has to beat out for me to invest in a bottle. Sometimes I look at it and like it, sometimes I prefer Kon-peki. Which really means I will probably end up with a bottle at some point.

Pelikan M205 F Rohrer & Klingner Verdigris - Pilot VP F Iroshizuku Kon-peki - Pilot Falcon SF Iroshizuku Tsutsuji

Lamy Safari EF Noodlers Black - Lamy Al Star 1.1 Private Reserve Rose Rage - Lamy Safari F Diamine Flamingo Pink - Lamy Al Star F Waterman Inspired Blue

TWSBI 580AL F - Omas Violet - TWSBI 580AL M De Atramentis Sherlock Holmes - TWSBI Vac700 F - Diamine Grey

I love Inspired Blue. It shades in any nib wonderfully. It was one of my first blue ink samples too after seeing SBREBrown use it in a video.

The Plumix has Year of the Dragon 2012 De Atramentis.

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

The saturation is off in this photo. Can't seem to get the green to show through in editing. It's a very turquoisy green.

Hmm... once I'm through the Shawndo samples, we will have to compare Diamine Blue Steel with De Atramentis Blue Steel with Noodler's / Dromgoole's Blue Steel.

Yes it is!

I went looking for images and the first google image looked like a blue pac man.

Well, when I saw the feather (I had wanted to doodle with Yama Dori), I decided to make it look even more pac man esque.
