Don't worry in Poland we have winters when temperature easily drops to -25 Celsius degrees so we and our ink is prepared to such conditions :) Near zero Celsius degrees writting with my ink is pretty hard because of higher viscosity, but ink is protected with cryoprotectants so it does not truly freeze into ice but becomes highly viscous slurry which comes back to its properties in room temperature.

Because of mass of ink it was divided into two packages, we have independence holiday today so first package will leave poland tommorrow and second on Thursday

Thank you Konrad! How very reassuring.

!!! heeeheeeee! What a cozy little friend. I think I know what I am going to have to change my avatar to in December. FYI/somewhat related: I've saved most of the little snails you've drawn/painted and I think I may start going through those for avatars, Amber-style!

This is very reassuring! I may have to test your inks against the worst -40 days, just for fun. Seriously, though, this is good to know. This will be my first winter as a fountain pen user and I've been a little nervous about this!

That's a little disturbing.

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

Create a Ghostly Avatar and I'll send you a letter. Check out some Ink comparisons: The Great PPS Comparison

Don't know where to start?  Look at the Inky Topics O'day.  Then, see inks sorted by color: Blue Purple Brown Red Green Dark Green Orange Black Pinks Yellows Blue-Blacks Grey/Gray UVInks Turquoise/Teal MURKY

Konrad: Are you shipping to Justin again for distribution?

Breathe. Take one step at a time. Don't sweat the small stuff. You're not getting older, you are only moving through time. Be calm and positive.

Quick Question - If we were part of this second group purchase, will we be notified/included in future group purchases? I've seen some other KWZI inks that look great pop up in the review forum.

We fulfilled our commitment to make sure everyone who missed the first Group Buy had the opportunity to buy bottles on the second Group Buy.

Future Group Buys will be open to everyone at the same time. Keep an eye on this thread... I'll make sure to provide a heads up.

So, what's the ETA looking like on these? I guessing a bit of time to get through Customs (I had to wait a bit for a CD I got on Amazon that was coming from Austria). Then sorting for redistribution. I'm estimating a couple more weeks, maybe?

I'll admit I'm getting a bit antsy :gaah:-- I can't wait to try the ones I ordered....

Package number one is awaiting customs in US since Sunday/Monday, hard to say how long does it take, sometimes it is 2 days, sometimes it is longer, package number two is still in Poland but it will leave in 1-2 days.

As irony, shipping between continents is the fastest part of transport (sometimes it is less than 4 hours between posting and putting package on a plane!), but it takes eternity till package leaves NYC packing facility...

There is no need for sorting - packages are already packed an labelled, the only thing that need to be done is to put them in USPS boxes, and send away :)

We will think about next group buy in January, there are some new inks in, that might be in offer. We will keep you posted. :)

I have a lot of tape - and I won't hesitate to use it!

True, the NYC customs is very random for packages arriving overseas and sometimes they don't ever leave the place when I check tracking over a few weeks.

Tomorrow, and tomorrow, and tomorrow

NY Customs really is bad. I live in NY and just 35 miles from JFK and I have had packages come from overseas and enter in NY and then be shipped to Dallas TX and or Michigan then back to NY to my mailbox.

Not that I have any insider knowledge, but the customs process is a necessary evil, making sure that unwanted critters, creepy crawlers and other harmful things don't get into our land of the free and home of the brave. Our ink is in safe hands and will be here, anon.

Ok...... KWZI is in the US!! http://smileys.on-my-web.com/repository/MSN_Emoticons/MSN-Emoticon-014.gif

I am sure our own Zoniguana (Master Distributor) will be receiving them this week. :D

--- Invoices ---

You will be receiving two invoices, one for the ink and one for the shipping.

Since this is Package #1, not everyone will be receiving an invoice this week. As soon as we can confirm the safety of the individual packages, we will be sending invoices to the recipients in Package #1. If you don't receive invoices this week, you can safely assume you are part of Package #2 (which should be two days away)
