Thanks for the review. Personally, I own the maple one, and while the build quality is fantastic, the fact that I got my Lamy 2000 and Aurora Archivi Storici, both with gold nibs, for less money has made this pen a bit of a disappointment on the writing front (the best price I could find was $185 US). Not to mention that numerous Pilot pens are also available with a gold nib at this price point. As the rest of the pen is quite good, I'm seriously considering sourcing a gold nib for it, which would make it fantastic.
