The Prince And The Pauper.

I had both the pens inked on my desk and decided to take some pictures, Both pens are designed to be ED filled, from the same company, but what a wide gulf separates them, it is mind boggling to think of what Pilot have achieved as a pen company.

For those who might be unfamiliar, the bigger pen is a Namiki Emperor and the smaller pen is a Pilot NSF pen.

What a contrast! Nice pictures Hari, thanks for sharing :)

The artwork on the Emperor is magnificent!

yes, indeed.

I have seen those pens, they have a plastic cap, have an additional GP trim ring between the section and barrel, are equipped with a converter and consequently do not have the white barrel sealing washer that the NSF pen is equipped with.

I have seen them referred to by a seller as the model 85 G3.

Well that isn't a Pilot nib but a Namiki nib. What size is that nib anyways? #15?

Same company. the higher end pens are badged Namiki in honor of the founder, kindly read up on the subject.

You can read the size of the nib in the pictures, it is their <50> size.
