Okay, I'll add this one to my list. It take about an hour a thread for me to upload. I will be off line this week, but if it isn't done by the end of this month, feel free to nag me.  :)

 

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

Thank you!  I am doing pen stuff in short bursts. It makes me feel productive when people notice.

I just received a bottle of Diamine Sapphire today.  When I took a swab, it looks entirely purple, not blue at all.  I used the same copy paper on which I put several blue inks and they all look blue, but not the Diamine.  Has anyone else noticed this?

Diamine Sapphire Blue was my favorite ink about 20 years ago. Then I found Asa-Gao, which is like an upscale Sapphire Blue. They are pretty close.

 

Diamine Imperial Blue is more purplish than Sapphire blue. When I bought a bottle of Imperial Blue at Art Brown's (therefore about 2010), Marilyn Brown said, "That's not blue...that's purple!"
