Renaissance Art Cover For Hobonichi Techno

I ordered a custom Renaissance Art cover for my Hobonichi Techno planner. It's the small custom cover in wintergreen. The measurements I gave them were 5 7/8" high by 4 1/8" wide by 5/8" deep. It arrived safely in only about a week. I really like the leather and the simplicity: this is a book cover, period. No extra pockets, no closures, no bookmarks, no pen loops. It has a comfortable, rustic feel to it.The leather is beautiful and I'm sure will get better with age.

Sorry about the lighting. The leather is a deep forest green that leans slightly toward yellow. It's dark but still obviously green.

In case anyone is ordering one of these, I think I overestimated the width just a smidge. Not enough to matter, really, but if I order another at some point I think I will do 4 1/16" instead of 4 1/8". Gotta love those mm to inch conversions.

It is really handsome! (Now I'm going to have to check out Renaissance Art.)

I LOVE Renaissance Art Leather! I have 2 custom made cover for my Rhodia notebooks. I also have one of their notebooks. I like the fact that you can purchase a pack of sample paper from them, the cost of the sample pack will go toward your purchase of one of their products. I was able to pick the perfect paper to use with my fountain pens.

I'm sticking to my Exacompta weekly planner for next year because I bought the 2015 refill before learning about Hobonichi. Blargh! But I'm hoping to transition to Hobonichi for 2016 and this cover looks like a keeper. The covers offered by Hobonichi and other 3P mfgs are mostly froo-froo girly. Thanks for sharing!

Thank you for sharing - I have been contemplating doing something similar and appreciate seeing the final product of such an order.
