Repairing An Ero

My daughter got me a vintage Ero from a flea market in Italy. In showing it to me she accidentally separated a plastic piece from the piston. Will this be a hard and expensive fix? I was hopeful I could stick a paperclip down the body and reattach.

European piston pen, my thought would be PM Bo Bo Olsen. Also kbeezie (Karl Blessing), as I believe he has worked on a couple of those pretty recently.

Someone with actual info may show up soon, but I have none. Hence referring you to those I believe may have your answer. BTW Bo Bo is in Germany - 7hours ahead of CST.
