Another-Is My Montblanc Fineliner Real Or Fake? (Pic Heavy)

okay I came across this pen at a good price . the seller seemed nice and had a few good pictures. so I bought it. the seller even included an extra rollerball refill in the price.

when I received and checked the pen, I noticed that there was no serial no. on the pen cap. that made me paranoid....because of the no of starwalker fakes out there. so here are the images...please let me know what you think.I know it is a rollerball/fineliner... but I assumed I can still use the knowledge pool here at fpn. thank you for any help in advance. and excuse me for the pics...I used ipad mini for these. I can upload more pics if needed.

on the packed refill there was a sticker indicating it was imported by entrack ltd (authorised distributor of montblanc in india). I tried to remove it, and it came off.

there is quite a lot of ink damage. on flipping the cushion there is a slot for 2 pens.

just realised....it does have a serial no, but as it is so small, I missed it. I think I need an eye exam... :P

I would still like to hear your opinions.

thank you Hermetic and Fritz Schimpf for confirming.

my main reason for concern was the absence of the serial no...which I found later. :headsmack: :wallbash: :D

It looks like an authentic Starwalker Doue FL/RB to me. It's obviously not in it's original box though, as that box previously had a fountain pen in it

You have one Rollerball/Fineliner pen , original Montblanc, congrats.

The refill inside the blister, it is only for ballpoints, so you can not use it for your rollerball, unless you make a modification to your rollerball barrel.

Regards

Please excuse my poor english, but it is not my mothern language and maybe it is wrong my grammar. Any Suggestions are welcome.

I guessed as much as only fountain pen ink can leave such a stain....may be the box was for a set. just idle speculation. : )

thank you for pointing out the ballpoint refill. I was wondering why it was of shorter length than the fineliner refill.

after you pointed out the ballpoint refill...I noticed the pics on the back of the blister pack, how to replace the refill in a ballpoint. :)
