welp there you have it how a CON-70 is dismantled the breather tube is attached to the white seal which is then threaded to the button do not worry about the spring it's clasped solidly to the connection/button and spring mechanism

All hail Algester, Conqueror of CON-70.

I tried and was able to unscrew the Con-70 that came with Justus-95 the same way, cleaned some Kon Peki that's been stuck in that area.

Also, it's much easier if you hold the white piece in place and turn the top portion, because the white piece is soft and too much pressure used I fear may deform it permanently.

the converter has a "double" reservoir system the button mechanism will also hold some ink which can be troublesome to clean

I don't understand how this works, I guess I am going to have to wait to get mine and find trouble cleaning it...

The back part creates a vacuum to suck up the ink.

I think I know the problem with my con-70. Air cannot escape by the back for.ink to flow in. Any idea on how to fix this?

the seal?... have you tried lubing it? or else something could be blocking the breather tube if so I already showed you guys how it dismantles and provided you can unscrew the metal collar out you can try to blow through it

I can't seem to unscrew the metal collar, i'll try again once the ink in it runs out. Do I need heat the converter or do anything to break the glue bond?

I was able to get mine apart but only just, and only by using a tweezers to unscrew the white seal part (the seal just spins freely if I rotate it; the screw is inside and hard to reach because of the rod)

hmm have you tried about re-ataching the seal because mine came in solidly glued?

ok further news about the disassembly of the converter the white seal can be pluck off by pulling it upwards or away from rubber stopper

and it seems what pilot has done is basically glue the rubber stopper at the tube then put the tube in the thread put a hole in it then crimp it in place

Thanks for pointing this out. I'll just make a comment here. I don't mean to revive it, but if I do, so be it.

I'm still trying to figure out how to list all my pens down here.
