Woohoo glad that we didn't get censored :)

Talking of really "stirring" watercolors, may I bring to your attention a fantastic masterpiece:

("La Vida Breve" by Nicholas Simmons, if you google you may find some other photos of it).

It's something really worth seeing.

Wow, that's an amazing water color.

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

Create a Ghostly Avatar and I'll send you a letter. Check out some Ink comparisons: The Great PPS Comparison

Don't know where to start?  Look at the Inky Topics O'day.  Then, see inks sorted by color: Blue Purple Brown Red Green Dark Green Orange Black Pinks Yellows Blue-Blacks Grey/Gray UVInks Turquoise/Teal MURKY

If Amber ever change her avatar again I would be honoured to use the "Lady with cigar" as my avatar.

If that would be acceptable to Napalm?

Just thinking ahead.

Sure why not.

Coming back to the subject - one of the silliest advice I got was to use only FP inks that are both fadeproof and waterproof. Given the current offer - a few pigmented inks - this means that I couldn't use my FP for drawing/washes and that I would eventually end up with a severe clog.

LOL - I love Napalm's work.

You can follow the ghostly trail here.

This all started with ink reviews.. I needed a little doodle to describe shading.... Ghosts are also called "shades" when I re-discovered that the Cyan ghost in pacman is named "INKY", the first ghostly avatar appeared.

My doodles have inspired Napalm

He started with these:

And lately, he's been doing stuff like this:

Napalm's stuff is WONDERFUL, WHIMSICAL and AMAZING.

Amber - it took me a few failed attempts, but finally here's your red stripe cigar. And the mandatory silly question: dare to use as an avatar? :P

Nice work!

Invokes thoughts of a simpler time, less healthy, more fun...

Heh, I actually heard someone suggest that ink collecting is cheaper than pen collecting. My ink shelf says otherwise...

I don;t know.... it takes a lot of bottles of Noodler's to compare to one Nakaya.

I am very carefully avoiding writing with a Nakaya. There's plenty of folks around here who'd let me, but if I do, I might want one.

More Silly Advice...

Try it, you won't like it, then you'll feel better about buying more ink.
