Red Resin Pilot Falcons/elabos At Jetpens

I received the Jetpens newsletter today and noticed that they have red resin version of Pilot Falcon available. What confuses me is that they are sold as Pilot Elabos (as in the japanese market version). I thought that the red resin Falcon would be available in the US in december. I know Nibs is taking pre-orders at the moment.

These must be their own import? Just wanted to give a heads up if somebody wants one, I know I do as I love red.

Caretaker for a bevy of Swans.

yes Jetpens looking at their inventory looks like most are purely self imported pens... I havent seen any news from Japan though... but there is the Elabo in red with rhodium furniture.. maybe its just new to the US very very old in Japan and yes Elabo is the native name of the Falcon in Japan... which you can easily guess will get confusing because nibs.com or perhaps by proxy Pilot USA will be bringing in the Custom Heritage 912 with the Falcon nibs (or at least one of the 10 special nibs offered) YES THAT WILL BE A CONFUSING MESS TO SAY THE LEAST

I'm not aware of any Red colored Resin Falcons currently in the US, Red Metal ones yes, but not Red resin. My guess is they're importing them directly which would explain the markup in the price.

It may still be available in December at the normal "Falcon" price, but the imports are just a way of getting one earlier.

My question is, if it's a Japanese import for the Elabo, how is Pilot USA warranty applied?

you send it to jetpens? that's what I can think off my custom heritage 91 is also not found outside USofA so that will be sent to Japan by me... if anything happens to it but of course thats what I pay for for buying stuff not found in my native soil :3 Pilot pens fall under that
