Yes, and I've prepared my wallet for another inevitable purchase. It'll be a new month by the time I get to use it, anyway.

Which one do you want to borrow, the Vac or the 540?

Oh. My. WORD....what a pen.

I really did not expect to be near-floored.

My reaction. They are delightful. I had a similar reaction to a Lamy Al-Star, but the TWSBI is very beautiful to look at and hold. It's...different.

Wow! I am floored by your generosity, Amberleadavis --and alc3261, too, just jumping in there to be the UK TWSBI lender like that!

Thanks for starting and enthusiastically promoting this program!

It's really been fun. Let me know when you are ready. I warn you though, once you start, you'll fall in love.

So, what's your point?

I know... it's like giving someone the first toke. I should start saying... whatever you do, don't fill. (like don't inhale).

Happy Halloween, almost. With probably more to come.

I wonder if the small metal band on the 580 section would bug me.

My latest ebook.   And not just for Halloween!

My other pen is a Montblanc.

I nearly tackled the mail lady today (just kidding) hoping that the pen would be delivered; I was not disappointed. Wow, the TWSBI is amazing. I now understand what all the fuss is about. I've only written with it for about a page, but I think that I can safely say it's one of my favorite pens - oops, except that it's not mine. Wow, the ink is amazing too! The Jinhao was a sweet bonus, too. What makes it even cooler is that I have a M blue 599 demonstrator so it will be fun comparing the nibs. I like the heft of the metal body better than the plastic demonstrator. More to come soon.

I really love the 580 AL and consider it a terrific improvement.

Both the pens have custom nibs from LahLahLaw, his work is just wonderful. The red Jinhao is one of his earlier stubs and I think it is really fun to use.

La la la . . . LahLah, are you listening? I don't have my own pen yet, but I want Amber's TWSBI nib. I love the flex, though I'm afraid to really try using it on a loaner. What's funny is that I thought that some of my pens were really smooth. They all pale in comparison and feel horribly scratchy after using your TWSBI. Thanks a lot.
