Knives And Fountain Pens

Bemo, I hear what you're saying... I too have a flashlight fetish, but have so far just kept it to one brand, FourSevens, though there is a fair bit of redundancy across that collection. The above Alpinist is one of two that I own, the other being an earlier model with a SS bracelet band. They are surprisingly accurate automatic watches for the price, though far from perfect. The one above is my favorite, most-commonly worn watch, but I have a variety of Kinetics that I also cycle through, as it is sometimes nice to grab a watch, throw it on the wrist and take off without setting the time and date. Seiko is generally my go-to brand on watches.

Case Peanut + Pilot Vanishing Point.

:D I was super happy to have Charleston Chew that day! Also, it's been so long since I've had a Peanut knife (okay... since August... when my very first one slipped out of my pocket at a knife show...). It's one of my absolute favorite knife patterns. I have a soft spot for traditional knives and while it's small, it does almost everything I need a knife for on a day-to-day basis. :D

My (digital) photos are always awful, sorry I really do not like digital cameras even though they are essential these days.

The pen in the picture is yet another Frankenpen - it has a Swan No1 Calligraph nib.

When I saw that I though "I've seen something like those knives before" and, sure enough, right there sticking in my back was a very similar knife. This one's the Ultralight Eagle, I think, and it has the plain blade, not the talon. So here's an Eagle and a Falcon. And a small rubber car.

Can anyone post a picture of a Spyderco manbug or mini knife with a pen? Looking to buy something to open the all too frequent packages that arrive and would be interested in the relative size of these knives :)

Here you go! The Manbug (mine is the SuperBlue steel) is a GREAT little knife. Very useful and the only comments that it ever draws is when people say how cute it is. The Rough Rider Improved Muskrat is a really nice little knife also. Cheap, SHARP, good spring tension, slim in the pocket and comfortable in the hand.

A few others...
