Okay, by the time I got a photo of some of my sharp/inky toys, this thread appeared to have trailed off, and I withheld posting, but since it's been revived, here 'tis. Sorry for the apparent cell phone resolution, this shot was taken with an acceptably sharp 10 megapixel point and shoot camera, but when uploaded into Photobucket, the good news is that PB automatically shrinks the size to reasonable screen width, bad news is that it also appears to inordinately decrease the quality of the pic. Also I apologize for the rather static, unartistic composition of this piece, it was a real quickie photo shoot.

From top to bottom, a Buck #120, an Al Mar MAC SOG (Seki, Japan), a Parker 75 Sterling Cisele (Spanish Treasure Fleet - 1715), a Parker Azure Blue Vacumatic (3rd quarter, '44), an Italian (style?) stiletto (original or Victorian replica?), a Parker 51 Flighter (2nd quarter, '51), a Parker Blue Cedar 51 with coin silver cap (4th quarter, '45), and a Japanese kozuka (small companion blade to a katana or wakizashi). Have other Japanese blades, but their large sizes do not integrate well with pens. :)

The only way these two could be more perfectly matched is if the Kaweco had a black nib...

After having certain knives and certain pens, I really hadn't changed up the carry too much. I'm so bad at rotating...

I'm surprised by how much I'm liking the <M> rhodium nib on the VP. I thought for sure that I would turn around and sell it when I had gotten it, but I find myself reaching for that over my <F> gold nib!

RisingSun, nice grouping! Always wanted an Alpinist and it looks great on that leather. Seriously addicting hobbies: pocket knives, watches, fountain pens, and my other one is flashlights. Just not enough money for them all!
