The GEC 15 Caplifter, is it a percussion cap lifter?

Mooshi, this is an interesting thread that's starting to develop long legs.

Nice balance of pens & knives.

:) It opens bottles. And I got the model name wrong - it's the Crown Lifter. :P

It's been a fun thread!

I EDC a fixed blade or two every day and have for four years. After a rather nasty incident of folding kinfe failure, I'm just a tad wary of them. I rather enjoy me fingers intact. I also a little carving in my spare time. I keep a spoon blank in my EDC bag for when I get bored at work.

What make is the little knife please? :)

It's a Colt ceramic blade. Crazy sharp little thing.

Thanks

Am trying to decide on a small penknife...

You'll find the smaller/slimmer blades on "traditional" patterns. Case, Rough Rider, Hen & Rooster, Great Eastern Cutlery (and its derivatives: Northfield, Tidioute, Farm & Field), Canal Street...

:) Good stuff. :P And as mentioned previously, can't go wrong with that Victorinox Cadet either.
