Walt Whitman Leaves Of Grass - Organics Studio

Well, I like earthy green-brown colors. I was sure I would like this ink in the moment I first saw a swab somewhere in internet. It took me quite some time to get a sample and it didn't disappoint me. The color is quite ubique and it blends green, brown and yellow in a unique way.

I was disappointed by many Organics Studio inks but this one rocks.

Take a look:

The name Leaves of Grass is inspired by Walt Whitman's book Leaves of Grass. I've decided to write few verses of Leaves of Grass with Leaves of Grass. Surprising, isn't i?

Very nice review. I like the chromatography you added to the review. I'm not sure I'm ready for such a sober green-brown. Maybe by December this colour group will appeal more.

The praise of the praiseworthy is above all rewards.

NIce! Some great pictures. The chromatography reminds me of medieval pictures of comets. Have you ever played with Stipula Moss Green (Moschiato, sometimes called "musk" which is not a color but a smell, but this is a different rant altogether...)? It is a color that can be brown or green, or both, depending on the pen you use. Flows well and has good dry time, too. Although you might find it bright, Rohrer and Klingner's ALt-Goldgrun is an ink that is seemingly different with every pen it goes in. Green. Golden green. Yellow. Brownish. A fun ink for sure.

Thanks for sharing the review.

Some people say they march to a different drummer. Me? I hear bagpipes.

Great review. I have this ink and I like it. Don't assume that it will be a dark green, because I agree that it's a murky color. Often doesn't appear green at all.

I feel like I know exactly what to expect of an ink having seen one of your reviews.

I doff my hat in your general direction.

I bought this ink just for the name (a sample). I LOVE it. I will likely go for a bottle soon. And the name, perhaps my most admired American poet in English (can one count Auden as American?), just adds to my attraction.

Thamks a lot again Visamitra for your stunning work of this stunning ink

I thought your work should be honorourd....

So I did in My review of J Herbin Vert d'Olive,in which I honour American poet Walt Whitman, Austrian writer Stefan Zweig and Polish ink connaiseur VIsamitra

Ha! I was thinking both these things while reading this review. I love the Stipula green and use it often.

Thank you for the wonderful review, Visamitra! I love seeing the splashes so very much. :)
