Can someone post pics of all colors of the Deluxe?

I'd like to see all of the colors that the Deluxe with the ribbed tassie came in if someone has them all. Did this model come with several filling systems?

Also, I know of 5 colors that the A or CA 101s came in...Were there more colors?

Thanks,

Ann

Ann-

Are you referring to the LK deluxe? The kind without the standard jewels and screw on caps? If no one can put up a pic, I'll try to get one together this evening or by tomorrow. I just might happen to have all the colors. ;) They only come in lever fillers.

As for the a/CA101's, I'm aware of six colors: green, grey, orange, light blue, dark blue, and a doctor/nurse's model in white with a red dot on the top. The last two colors are somewhat hard to find.

I had a spare moment, and figured no time like the present. :) Here are all six colors in the LK series, from top down:

Royal Blue

Midnight

Maroon

Colonial Grey

Willow Green

Emerald Green

It's not a great pic, but I think you get the idea. :) Happy Memorial Day.

Hey, I have one of those, in black! Came in a bargain lot off eBay. It's a nice pen!! I find it very comfortable in the hand, more so than the J series. (I know, heresy. Heresy. Whack me with a wet sheet of Clairefontaine. But truthfully, I didn't find J's very comfortable to use...)

Are these pens considered desirable in the Esterbrook world? I'd love to get a couple more, especially those nice green ones... If they're not very collectible, that means they'd be nice and cheap. ;)

Brian....Thanks so much!

The color of A/CA 101s that I didn't know about is the white one.

Those pens in the picture are indeed the deluxe model I had in mind. I didn't know they were named the LK model though. I think they're classier looking than some of the other deluxes--and lever fillers don't bother me a bit! I'd seen a photo of one with a lever, but couldn't tell on other photos the way the pen was positioned, so I'm happy to get this info. And your photo certainly does help in identifying the colors. :D

Thanks again!

The LK's are, in my opinion, inferior than the SM deluxe series. The plastic is softer and results in scratched barrels (some of my examples show this). Tassie plating seems to flake off easy too. Otherwise, they're good pens. :) Love the Royal blue and emerald green colors.

LK's I wouldn't consider cheap, but black, the most common color, might get you $20-$30. Other color pricing varies, depending on who's in the market and how nice the speciman is.
