I think I just diluted it too much.

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

I'm not a big turquoise fan. The only ink I had to write with during several of my teen years was Sheaffer Peacock Blue. I got over saturated with it.

 

This is, nevertheless, an interesting ink. I can't get it to show up in my scans sufficiently, but this ink well produce a darker edge to the letters with the inner part of the line being a bit lighter.

This review caused me to make the interesting discovery with those brighter/lighter colors that I have less interest in using unadulterated may be more appealing to me in finer nibs.
