Kobe Ink (In Pictures)

Well my first ever Kobe inks have arrived! And it was very fast. Just thought I'd share some pics because I'm so excited! Haven't had a chance yet to actually try the inks as my pens are currently occupied with ICU ink testing.

This is when you know something exciting is in the mail. All the way from Japan!

You get beautiful ink boxes. The back had a sticker/printing in Japanese but does identify the number of the ink in Arabic numerals.

And Sailor Kobe ink bottles!

#14 Maya Lapis blue, #28 Suzuran Green, #38 Kitanozaka Night blue.

One nice thing I noticed is that on the inside flap of the box lid is a date code. Perhaps this shows the manufacture date? If so, these inks are pretty fresh, the oldest being the green with a date stamp of Oct 2013. The other two are this year.

I'll go reviews soon… and post the pics from that...

PS I completely blame Algester for this.

I had a similar experience last Friday. My first Kobe ink arrived, #1 Rokko Green...and I wish I had ordered more!

Can't wait for your reviews.

I edited my post to say which inks I ordered. It was a difficult choice because I could have easily added another 2 or 3 inks (or more!), but some kind of restraint had to be exercised.

Only 2-3 more? There are 50 of them :puddle:

I said 2-3 (or more). :)

Yes, but buying all 50 of them really isn't meaningful to me as I'd have to exclude the pinks. :lticaptd:
