No, I don't think they have it in stock yet (their regular newsletter arrived this morning Aus time) - they have it listed on their website and designated 'out of stock' so you can sign up to be notified when it arrives.

I stand corrected - just confirmed that detail on their Facebook page. They do still have sample vials available though (unless those have sold out too now!), and hope to get more stock in before the end of the month. Haven't seen any Australian stores stocking this yet - but that's not exactly unusual...

I was there on the site in time, but after I did the math, I realized I could almost get 2bottles for that price if I wait for the UK retailers to stock. The Writing Desk said they'll have it in two weeks or so.

Saw a sample in person today and it does remind me of glittery nail polish. The gray color actually looks closer to black under light.

It's OK, Tas. Different inks for different people. Then there is more for us.

 

For me this one is an ink for Christmas (like the red one) and for invitations and such things. Very much on-purpose. Great for addressing the envelope of a child's birthday invitation.

 

I did take it into the office one day and it just felt ... odd with all that glitter.

I got my bottle yesterday, and inked a pen with a cursive italics nib this morning. I don't see any sheen at all. It just looks like gray ink. It's nice gray ink, but I was pretty excited about making boring notes less, well, boring. In the bottle, it looks like the entire bottom is covered in a layer of gold. Do I just need to shake it before I fill my pens, maybe?

Absolutely! Needs big vigorous shake.

So does this mean that if you want to subdue the glittery effect for regular office writing, then you are okay if you don't shake the bottle? The comments above about a glittery gell pen don't work for me, but the colour of this ink and the water resistence really appeal to me for everyday writing.

You'll get to the glitter eventually, of course. Have you considered Montblanc permanent grey as an option?
