I still have to pick up my #28 IG Red.. Is down in the States...

IG are famous to be amazing on wet pens. I have a super wet noodle and IG inks are the best ink for that pen.

I guess I will be putting IG Red on my Mabbie Todd super wet noodle...

So far in the morning after, the red IG is still pretty bright.

The final color of IG depend on paper, and some high quality papers does not show colour change - this is because IG component soak deep in paper fibers, where he slowly oxidise to reach colour and the only thing that we see is dye component on surface of fibers.

Here you can see example of this : https://www.fountainpennetwork.com/forum/index.php/topic/269406-k-w-z-i-konrad-27/?p=3042142

I have a lot of tape - and I won't hesitate to use it!

Konrad :

I'm in no way upset with the slow colour change... rather the opposite, in fact. I enjoy a bright red ink, and I'll enjoy seeing it slowly change. As a chemist and chemical engineer, I can appreciate the process of a slow chemical reaction, even if I don't care to develop the rate-order equations for this ink !

I am using some very good quality paper, so this may take several days. I can wait. <warm smile>

I'm very much looking forward to using Blue #3, as Ethernautrix had heartily recommended this colour. I just need to finish off the ink in another pen, and then onto my next KWZI colour !

A well earned dziękuję to you for your amazing work with these inks.

Status report - no darkening of the IG red after a day and a half. Pretty interesting waiting to see how this will proceed...
