Hari curious have you tried transplanting the nib and feed of the Pilot custom into the Metropolitan,78G,knight, and prera?

No, I have not. There is a slight profile variation, this question is answered in the Pilot Custom review thread, link here.

Not a million miles away from my Sailor Somiko in general shape too. Nibs differ but the bodies of all three - the Pilot, Platinum and Sailor - are very similar.

Very neat little pen

Pens are like watches , once you start a collection, you can hardly go back. And pens like all fine luxury items do improve with time

Very good pen too. Got one after reading this. Value for money. Looks are like more expensive ones. Smooth writing.

How does the nib compare with the flexibility of the Platinum PTL-5000?

These are firm nibs per my estimation. The M nib on my PTL-5000A is even more firm. HTH.

Which would you pick between the PTL-5000A and the Custom?

I must've hit the lottery with my two PTL-5000As. They're both the most flexible (in any definition of the word) nib'd modern nibs in my collection.

I want to know if you have paid custom duties for the pen and you have paid it then it is how much ,I mean it is what percentage of the price of the pen.

that`s a pretty good price for the pen. esp if you can escape the import hassles.

Yes considering the fact that mine came with a CON 50 converter and delivered within 3 days.
