What Converter For A Lamy Persona ?

The black one works in mine. The red one is for the Safari type pens.

There was an older one that was the one....but you'd have to look up to see what number it had, then hunt Ebay.

It depends on what Persona you are speaking of. The z26 works fine.

 

However, three of mine (all metal pens) came with a z23 threaded converter. My Makrolon one came with a z25 threaded converter. The z23 converter has a metal sleeve at the bottom with threads that securely thread into the pen. This is possibly the best converter I have ever seen. The z25 has plastic threads. I bought my pen used and the threads were basically stripped. I managed to find a replacement on ebay for very little.

Anderson Pen in the U.S. has the Lamy Z25 convertors in stock for only $5.00 each. I bought two!

First gen, i.e. without the small sphere on the clip with z23 (steel threads), after with the z25 (plastic threads). I suggest you buy more than one of either since they are not produced anymore.

My Lamy Persona has a black converter that screws into the section, sorry don't know what model number Lamy calls it, but it does not look quite the same as the Z25 pictured on the Anderson Pens site. For what it's worth the black handled Z26 also seems to fit into the Persona, feels snug in the section and the barrel screws on with no issue. Your mileage may vary.
