I would love the black one, but of course it will always be out of my price range.

In order to appreciate the sweet, you must truly taste the bitter....

17k for a pen that's almost 90% made out of plastic? Although I agree both pens look stunning, I believe they have lost all touch with reality at Montblanc.

Entirely agree with this sentiment. The prices are beyond astronomical: they are absurd! On the other hand, both pens are lovely!

Wonderful, thank you for posting these glorious images! These are of course, in a far different price range, but it makes me love the Heritage 1912 even more - so much that I may hope for a broad nib version.

Love to see the comparison shots...but wow, the price! :yikes:

I'm still saving for an Agatha.

Ah the Agatha.. thanks for paying my attention to that! It does carry some similarities with the Heritage collection doesn't it? ;)

Some people don't know what else to do with their money quantity. Wanting another (expensive) pen is probably a (mind) disease.

I must say.. this post is too judgemental and disturbing.

Only for you if you take it seriously.

Not for me, but think others might find it offensive implying that they're 'diseased' just because you think so and judging their lifestyle choices.

A person making $60-80k a year buying a $1k pen has more to ponder than folks who might be making $500K+ a year buying a $10k item. They may be putting lots more to good use and not necessarily 'clueless' as you suggest :)

Why are you concerned about others?

I bought too many pens myself and suffer from having a "mind disease" :)

Happy?

I hate MB's (only have two in my collection and stupid to use the word hate), but that orange one is just incredible!!

I shudder to think what the cost is....
