I own all of those and I regret nothing. :)

No regrets here either. I don't do regret. And those are just a very small selection from my blue inks. I love blue ink :-)

I like Blue... I prefer dark blues, I LOVE Blue-Blacks... and I do have most of those (#37, Maya, UR and Sargasso).... Don't have BB Sapphire... and since now price is prohibitive, I do regret not getting one. :(

Hi Andy

Do these help?

The top three inks all have a very very slight turquoise tonal value compared to the bottom three, but it only stands out when you add a water wash, as I have done, to the corner of each swab. The bottom three are more of a true blue

When written with I'd say that Sapphire is different to all three, but Kobe #37 is closer to Saphhire than #50.

I've also added a view of sheen. #50 has very little sheen compared to all the others, and is brighter blue, a bit like Mr Pen Radiant Blue. The sheen monster is #14, Maya Lapis.

The card I've used for the swabs is Exacompta Bristol board 205gsm (made by Clairefontaine). The photo accuracy is limited by my iPad camera, although they look reasonably accurate on my screen.

Lovely. This makes me wish I'd grabbed a bottle of Ur Lapis.

Thanks a lot! :) Very kind of you!

Seems like #37 will be a better choice instead of #50. Will probaly get a bottle of #38 as well.

Love the seen from #14 though...

Will be expensive this... I too love blue inks!

Note on this year's Maruzen LE inks. Stopped by Maruzen last week and while there asked to reserve a couple of bottles of this year's ink as I have done for the previous three years. They are not accepting reservations for ink this year. I plan to be there as they open one the first day of the pen fair. Hope there aren't bus loads of Chinese tourists to beat me to them.

Bungbox Valentine's Ink Pair on Massdrop!

One bottle of Sweet Love Pink ink and one bottle of Valentines Choco Brown.

Another one I'm skipping. I don't like pink ink and I have enough browns.

I wish there were another Sapphire blue-like ink. That color tempts me even more than my utter favorite ink Kon-peki.

I hope you can get some. :)

The color doesn't appeal to me much, but I will ask some office person to get some for me. Nothing like a limited edition ink from sailor.

I won't be able to make it to the Maruzen Pen fair. :(

Here's an auction item that may appeal to the prosperous among you. I'm grateful that I got my bottle before The Recent Hysteria.

I've been watching that one for a few days, just for the fun of it. People are completely bonkers! The seller also had a bottle of Tomiya ink (Akita Green Brown). It sold yesterday for $109.50. Quite bizarre. Edited by migo984

The new color is called "Owl", which is their mascot.

That is one of the most easily available sailor inks. I have 3.
