Ack, yeah wain wo/o, not no. Totally different. :)

I understand almost zero nuance. All I can do is read kana and sometimes go "Oh, hey, that says wine!" :)

Worry not if you have a japanese keyboard input you can't go wrong

の = no

を = wo

But since the current computer I used doesnt have east asian inputs I use my iPad to do the japanese typing if copy and paste cant be used

The hard thing for me to say is that wo doesnt have an english equivalent

But the closest I think is to as in to someone or to something I'll have to ask my translator friend if I'm correct about it

ワインを片手に seems to be the general consensus (Wine in Hand) is the better translation can't edit anymore :X

I know that "wo" indicates some sort of direct object grammatically, and I know that "te" means hand and think "ni" is near, but in terms of the exact correct phrase it translates to, I am lost. I speak about as well as a Japanese toddler. Possibly less well. :)

Circus theme inks again from Sailor the bottle isnt what were used to but it should be reminiscent of the old luminous green ink jar from Bungbox

and they seem to be pigmented...

I'd love that Magic Purple and Night Blue! Lion Brown looks nice too...

Why, why must they taunt me with amazing ink?! I'll probably pick these up in a few months. Sigh, truly the madness never ceases.

it's very new which begs the question will these be sold outside of japan through normal retailers OR will it be like Onnago-Iro days ink where it's essentially stuck in Japan

I wouldn't be surprised if they did stay in Japan. If they don't though, I think this may be a real opportunity for Sailor to heavily expand their market share for inks in N America and Europe. Their Nano Black and Blue-black are both highly respected, many people are dissatisfied with the permanent inks on the market, and Herbin has shown that packaging ink in smaller bottles so you can charge less per bottle for expensive ink is a wining strategy. This could be big if they actually move on it.

I'm not sure who they are trying to appeal to with these inks.

Same people who are making the DA Document Inks sell out all the time. They are bright, primary colors that are permanent and mix able with each other. If you can reliably do that and have less performance issues than the non-black Noodler's Bulletproofs and non-KWZI IGs, then the market has already shown a healthy demand. Edited by alarickc

Plus the bottles and packaging are cute!

Breathe. Take one step at a time. Don't sweat the small stuff. You're not getting older, you are only moving through time. Be calm and positive.

Interesting that they are not claiming that these pigmented inks are nano particle (or, as they say, "ultra-fine particle"). I agree with Saskia--these are for someone else to try first. Notice that Sailor is not recommending the use of these inks in any pens other than theirs.

Rationalizing pen and ink purchases since 1967.

They do say that the new inks are ultra fine pigment ink down in the spec table.

let's just hope that these inks will be available to the rest of the world without special orders involved...

Then what would be the FUN in that? Mr "Cool Japan" has just been "so nice to me" I got my shipping notice & a nice thank you from him. I think he is such a "nice young man."

I understand ( I really would like to try that green one!) But I think sometimes it it the "hard to get" part that makes some of these inks appealing. I will be watching my front porch this morning to catch the mail as I hope to get a box of 4 BUNG BOX inks before they freeze. They have made their journey form Japan to a retailer here in US & now purchased by me. I am excited but there are many colors of Diamine I have not tried & ordering those (for a LOT less $) wouldn't be as exciting as getting to try these inks I have read about here.

It is silly BUT true.
