I have used Cigar and Riku-Cha side by side and can not see any difference at all. In fact, strangely, they often seem to be less like themselves than they are to the other.

I have a perfect shot that shows that although the inks are very close, the sheen is totally different. Can't find the damn pic... ...

So the Bungubox Tokyo Metro line, are those FP inks? The bottle looks different and more like the new 20 ml bottles for the "Four Seasons" inks.

Hello,

Is there a shop in London where I can find some of these (Sailor and more exclusive) inks?

Any suggestion is quite welcome.

Thank you!

Dan

I can't help you with the general Sailor inks, but the majority of the inks in this thread concern Sailor inks that are exclusive to particular shops in Japan. While some of these shops sell online, the vast majority do not. And for those that do, you need to set up an account at a forwarder in Japan, essentially a Japanese mailbox, where you can ship your purchases, since they don't ship outside Japan. So, quite a complex endeavor.

The US shop Vaness carries the Bungbox inks, though I suspect shipping to UK would be prohibitive. The Kobe Nagasawa inks may be available through your local Amazon. Scratch that — they used to have all their inks available online via Amazon, but now the price is insane. cool-japan on ebay sells some of these inks, usually the Kobe's and sometimes some others.

So a Taiwan shop with custom inks being sold by Nagasawa in Japan for 3500 ¥. So over $31 per bottle without any shipping to the US (or anyplace overseas).

The inks look nice, but I'll pass.

I'm sorry if this has already been answered, but what's the deal with the new 20ml Shikiori inks? Are the 50ml Jentle versions going to be phased out? I notice the 20ml Shikiori Yama Dori is the same price as 50ml Jentle Yama Dori, for example. Is this a move to increase prices per ml?

Thanks for your reply, and I'm sorry now I posted my question here. I see there's a discussion on this very topic already. Sad development still :(

Also, are the exclusive inks from office-vendor (Matsushima Blue, Naruko Red, etc.) still available?

Edit: Just read that they aren't anymore. Sad.

Edit 2: I'm wrong. Read Mew's response below!

Goodluck. Let us know how you like the store. It's decently large with lots of items, but I didn't take any pictures.

Forgive me for being slightly off-topic, but I think Sailor has just announced 100 new colors, or something like that. I can't read Japanese, and can only glean info on the twitter post from Google translate, but here's some of the key info links:

Translations/explanations would be wonderful, thanks!
